Tonight at CES Unveiled, tech aficionado Lenovo showed off an exciting Android-powered 4K display: the ThinkVision 28. This 28-inch, 10-point touch monitor will grace the consumer market in July, and packs a wealth of cool features for a (relatively) affordable MSRP of $1,199.
Buying into such a large monitor for a little over a grand is something of a rare feat already—4K (3,840 x 2,160) resolution monitors are unheard of at that price. The ThinkVision 28 allows for three HDMI inputs, DisplayPort, and comes equipped with a USB hub.
Don't have a 4K-capable source? No worries—the ThinkVision 28 has Android 4.4 (KitKat) built in, and it's apparently been optimized to display at 4K resolution. Finally, you can see every grim detail of Angry Birds in ultra high definition while taking full advantage of the monitor's 10-point capacitive touch.
By the time of release, this Nvidia Tegra-powered display should also be Miracast-, Bluetooth 4.0-, and NFC-compatible.
