Introduction

The S2031 is a low-end, budget monitor from HP. It will likely pass under the radar of most monitor connoisseurs because the market happens to be chock full of 20-to-24-inch "cheap" monitors that don't do much except display an accurate picture (and sometimes, don't even do that). But if you're looking for a monitor with good performance that's low-maintenance and cheap, the HP S2031 is perfectly suited to that end. While it may not have any bells and whistles, it's got the performance specs of many more expensive monitors, wrapped up in an inexpensive, frills-free package.
