Introduction

The Acer S231HL is a simple and bare bones monitor with the design, color reproduction, and connectivity features you'd expect to get for an MSRP of $150. While it's a decent monitor for its price, we certainly can't recommend it as a serious purchase for professional photographers or designers. But if you just want something simple, cheap, and effective, the Acer S231HL is for you.
